(AP, 200eRYT) With much gratitude and humility, it has been my pleasure to have spent the last 3 years studying Ayurveda with the most Loving and Compassionate Dr. Vasant Lad and his amazing teachers at The Ayurvedic Institute in Asheville, North Carolina. Formerly here in Albuquerque, NM. It was always my idea to learn this beautiful ancient healing medicine from Dr Lad and bring it back home to New Mexico.
While in North Carolina, I attained my 200hr Bhakti Yoga certification at Asheville Yoga Center where I am continuing with my 500hr certification focusing on Ayur Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation. I previously spent the last 25 years learning about Plant medicine from local herbalists and traditional healers in Mexico while incorporating all this knowledge into my own healing work as a Massage therapist and Sobadora.
I was blessed to be able to learn in their schools and alongside them in their clinics and various settings in Mexico and right here in our New Mexico communities. I have worked with students at UNM offering herb walks to students of the summer Curanderismo classes and using my spanish speaking skills to help translate this valuable information to students of this tradition.
I would be honored to use the ancient, scientific knowledge of Ayurveda along with my other knowledge to integrate a tailored and personal plan to help you with your modern health concerns so that you can live your best life. Ayurveda is about bringing balance through daily practice and attention so that this can be achieved. I am humbled to be working with this amazing group of Vaidyas here at the AYURVEDIC COMMUNITY WELLNESS CENTER as we harmoniously work toward better health through Ayurveda.
