Kusum Bhandari

Kusum Bhandari (AP, CHC, LAMFT) is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and a Provisional Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a rich and diverse background in holistic and clinical care. She completed the comprehensive Ayurvedic Studies Program at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque under the guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad, later serving there as both a faculty member and practitioner.

She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Rajasthan University and a Post-Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia. In addition, she is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Before transitioning to Ayurvedic practice, Kusum worked as a Psychology Associate and Crisis Counselor at the Western Maryland Health System, offering both inpatient and outpatient counseling. Currently, she continues her Ayurvedic practice while also working at a local mental health counseling center, where she supports children, adults, couples and families  in managing anxiety, depression, and a range of emotional and relational challenges.

Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and sharing laughter with loved ones. She is deeply committed to guiding and empowering individuals on their journey toward physical health, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
